type='text'>Animation

My favorite animation is A Goofy Movie. A classic Disney movie that is geared toward families. It is enjoyable for everyone. Like many Disney classics, it is a lot like a musical. It is about Goofy and his son, Max, traveling on a family camping trip across the country. They end up at a rock concert and dance on stage on television for all of Max's friends to enjoy. This is an example of good animation because even though the characters are all walking and talking dogs, it is still realistic and believable.
This image by Ahmd Nadalian is an interesting example of web art. From my understanding web art is artwork that gains most of its inspiration from media. I like the composition of this image. The silhouetted figures are bold and apparent right away when you see this image. It was not until after viewing this image for a couple seconds that i noticed the screen in the bottom left hand corner. The colors work nicely. I am not sure if the viewer is looking at the figures from behind a screen, but it appears that way. The colors are nice mild, warm tones and i think it works nicely for the composition. I am excited to learn more about visual art.

I decided to write my blog for this week about this picture. I really like the simplicity of the image. There are a lot of things going on that grab your attention, but the repetitive patterns gives it a calming feeling. The placement of what appears to be the salt and pepper shaker is perfect. It allows your eyes to move nicely from the bottom left-hand corner in a counter clockwise motion. I like the contrast of the image. The strong black and white values in the salt shaker draw your attention to them right away. The grays in the background nicely complement the strong white tones of what appears to be a coffee table. Overall I think this is a very successful image.
I really like this digital composition because it is very intriguing. I really like the manipulation of the face. The focus on the mouth and teeth was the first thing i was drawn to. Once my eyes started moving through the composition, the face in the top left caught my attention. It appears almost that the face in the background is looking from a mirror or somewhere undetected. I also like how you can almost make out a finger in the bottom left, as it looks like it is approaching the mouth. The eye of the face is also very intriguing, as it appears to be missing the major components of an eye. It is almost just implied that it is supposed to be an eye. Overall i think this is a very interesting composition and i would be curious to see other work by this artist.

Futuristic Situation Inspiration

For this project I got my inspiration in several places. Firstly, as my main subject I am using a girl. I have done several photography projects with my main subject as a girl and I have done a lot of experimenting with that. The pose that the girl is making is exactly what I want. Her pose is somewhat uncomfortable and out of the ordinary, but the girl looks comfortable. I was also inspired by black lights and a futuristic environment.
