I really like this digital composition because it is very intriguing. I really like the manipulation of the face. The focus on the mouth and teeth was the first thing i was drawn to. Once my eyes started moving through the composition, the face in the top left caught my attention. It appears almost that the face in the background is looking from a mirror or somewhere undetected. I also like how you can almost make out a finger in the bottom left, as it looks like it is approaching the mouth. The eye of the face is also very intriguing, as it appears to be missing the major components of an eye. It is almost just implied that it is supposed to be an eye. Overall i think this is a very interesting composition and i would be curious to see other work by this artist.

Futuristic Situation Inspiration

For this project I got my inspiration in several places. Firstly, as my main subject I am using a girl. I have done several photography projects with my main subject as a girl and I have done a lot of experimenting with that. The pose that the girl is making is exactly what I want. Her pose is somewhat uncomfortable and out of the ordinary, but the girl looks comfortable. I was also inspired by black lights and a futuristic environment. I feel the fluorescent colors given by a black light portray the kind of futuristic environment I imagined.

Myself

My name is Jaclyn Duket and I am a sophmore at IU. I am currently studying Informatics with my focus in Fine Arts.
I have always been in love with creating art and expressing myself through it. Photography is my passion, both dark room and digital.
Most of my inspiration comes from experience and my sense of humor. I love creating surreal and abstract images to express my sense of humor and my personal views. I am also inspired by music and the experiences that come with live music performances.
